Suunto's patented Global needle has several advantages over a standard needle. Functions flawlessly anywhere in the world. Reads much more accurately on a tilt, which means quicker readings. Larger needle makes it easier to read.
The Global Leader has an ergonomically designed baseplate with rounded edges and anti-slip rubber pads. Luminous bezel makes night navigation easier.
Baseplate has 1:24, 1:62, inch and centimeter scales. Also has a 4X round magnifying lens to help read small map details.
