The Hiker is the proven lightweight favorite water filter. It removes Bacteria, Giardia and Cryptosporidium through a .3 micron pleated glassfiber and activated carbon filter.
Unlike many filters the Hiker has a reliable anticlog microfilter capable of filtering up to 200 gallons depending upon water quality. Pre-filter at hose inlet filters to 150 microns, removing larger contaminants before they reach the main filter increase life span.
Output is approximately 1 liter per minute with 48 easy strokes. Ergonomic handle makes use comfortable. Includes a carry sack and bottle adapter that fits most water bottles.
