The Grivel Air Tech Evolution Ice Axe with Leash is a lightweight alpine tool weighing just 1 pound 1 ounce.
The head, which is hot forged from a single piece of steel, has become an established alpine classic.
The shaft’s gentle curve just below the head gives greater clearance and makes anchoring easier on any sort of terrain. The lower straight part of the shaft will penetrate into snow with little effort.
The Grivel Long Leash that is adjustable for length. The rubber tip protector can be used on the ice axe’s spike or pick. Wrist support and grip are improved with natural rubber sleeve.
Compatible with: The Grivel Slider hand rest that slides to the top of the shaft when sunk in snow or to the bottom to support hand in traction.
