The Camp Crest Snow Shovel is the lightest handled avalanche shovel available. At only 8.9 ounces it will not weigh you down.
The aluminum handle slides into the blade for great packability. A quick pull on the handle and it sets with a metal pop-up for fast deployment.
The polypropylene blade is not as rigid as other plastic blades to prevent bouncing on hard snow. The aluminum alloy shaft is contoured for a solid grip and good rigidity.
Included is a nice carrying bag with straps for lashing on to a backpack.
