The Black Diamond Contour Elliptic Shock incorporates BD’s patent-pending Control Shock Technology, the Shock's progressive, four-stage shock absorbs light strikes and heavy hits without pogo-rebounding or bottoming out.
Designed with an elliptic shaft with double the fore/aft stiffness of a traditional round pole. The 360-degree padded Nubuck straps and dual-density grips provide all-day comfort, variable hand positioning and steep descent control.
Dual FlickLocks offer a secure, fast adjustment with zero slippage, and can be easily operated—even with gloves on. The Contour Elliptic Shock comes with Long Flex Tips and low-profile trekking baskets.
